About Jason Smith
I am a country boy and understand your desire to live in the country. I have an absolute passion for the country life. My wife Nicole and I live on a farm in the Loess Hills near Mondamin in Western Iowa. I can use my experience as an acreage dweller to help guide you and explain the differences. Prior to becoming a Land Specialist and Auctioneer I spent 17 years as a police officer in Southwest Iowa. Over those years I became very familiar with the area and the people of Southwest Iowa. As a police officer I gained many skills that are very helpful as a real estate professional and have served me well.
I am a graduate of World Wide College of Auctioneering, regarded by many as the number 1 auction school in the world. As a Professional Iowa Auctioneer I enjoy farm and farmland sales. We also sell recreational land, real estate, estates, machinery sales and even some benefit and charity auctions. I own my own auction company called Smith Auction Marketing Company based in Mondamin and Missouri Valley Iowa.
I am also an avid outdoorsman and hunter. In college I studied Fish and Wildlife Biology and as a real estate agent I specialize in working with recreational land and hunting land.
